Basic Handgun (No Live Fire)

🏠 Home-based — conducted in the comfort of your home.

This Basic Handgun Class is perfect for new shooters. It teaches basic marksmanship fundamentals of firearm safety, sight alignment, trigger control, grip, and breath control using a simulated pistol with a resetting trigger and laser to indicate where the shots hit (no firearm or ammunition required).

The student will be using a SIRT (Shot Indicating Resetting Trigger) Training Pistol or the option to use their own handgun utilizing a Laser Training Cartridge, both options provided by the Instructor. This class will give the student the basis to decide whether or not they would like to take the next step of incorporating live fire training on the range.

This Basic Handgun Class is designed for new and inexperienced shooters who want to build a solid foundation in firearm safety, handling, and marksmanship. This class begins with an in-depth review of firearm safety rules, handgun parts and operation, and proper storage practices. Students will learn about different types of handguns, ammunition basics, and essential range etiquette.

Classroom instruction is followed by hands-on training in grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and basic shooting techniques. Upon completion of the 3-hr classroom portion, students will participate in supervised 1-hr live-fire exercises at the range. Instructors will provide one-on-one coaching to help each participant develop confidence and improve accuracy.

Women's Basic Handgun (Class & Live Fire)

Ladies, are you ready to take control of your personal safety with confidence and skill? Whether you’re brand new to firearms or just looking to build a solid foundation, our Certified Instructor offers a welcoming, supportive environment tailored specifically for women.

In this course, you’ll learn essential safety practices, proper handling techniques, and gain real-world skills at a pace that suits you, all in a judgment-free setting where questions are encouraged and confidence is built every step of the way. This is a 4-hr class, with 3 hours of classroom and 1 hour of live fire range time.

Couple's Basic Handgun (No Live Fire)

This Couple’s Basic Handgun Class is perfect for new shooters. It teaches basic marksmanship fundamentals of firearm safety, sight alignment, trigger control, grip, and breath control using a simulated pistol with a resetting trigger and laser to indicate where the shots hit (no firearm or ammunition required).

Couple's Basic Handgun (Class & Live Fire)

Our Couple’s Basic Handgun Class is designed to create a safe, supportive, and empowering environment where partners can learn the fundamentals of firearm safety and handling together. This course covers essential topics such as firearm operation, safe storage practices, situational awareness, and proper range etiquette.

Led by a Certified Firearm Instructor, the class combines classroom instruction with hands-on range time, ensuring couples gain confidence and proficiency in handling, loading, unloading, and basic marksmanship techniques. Upon completion of the 3-hr classroom portion, students will participate in supervised 1-hr live-fire exercises at the range.

Basic Handgun (Range Only)

This class is designed for more experienced shooters who want to build a solid foundation in firearm safety, handling, and marksmanship. This session assumes the student is already proficient with firearm safety rules, handgun parts and operation, proper storage practices and basic range etiquette.

The student will participate in supervised 1-hr live-fire exercises at the range. The Instructor will provide one-on-one coaching to help each participant develop confidence and improve accuracy, while catering to the shooter’s own needs.
